dilemma  /dɪˈlemə/ 困境，窘境 

A dilemma is a situation in which you usually have to make a very difficult choice between two things.

dilemma指的是一种情况，你通常不得不在两件事情之间做出艰难的选择。
He will be in a dilemma if he can only choose to keep one pet, either his dog or cat.

如果他只能养一只宠物，要么养狗，要么养猫，他将陷入进退两难的境地。

Tiger moms are usually very pushy, highly controlling, and  strict on their kids.

虎妈通常都很强势，控制欲很强，对孩子很严格。
Elephant moms are protective; they respect kids' choices, letting kids be kids rather than giving them guidelines.
