arouse /əˈraʊz/ v.  激起，引起（感情、态度）

arouse sb's interest/curiosity/anger  引起某人的兴趣╱好奇心╱怒气

Her strange behavior aroused our suspicions. 

她古怪的行为引起了我们的怀疑。 

enthusiastic /ɪnˌθjuːziˈæstɪk/ adj. 热烈的；热心的

*an enthusiastic supporter 热心的支持者  an enthusiastic welcome 热烈欢迎

*发音小贴士：这个单词音节比较多，读的时候要注意找准重音，重音放在第四个音节梅花音 /æ/ 上.

*be enthusiastic about (doing) sth 对某事满怀热情

He is not very enthusiastic about the idea. 

他对这个想法不是很有热情。

It's the country's highest honor for those who have made great contributions to the country.

它是国家最高荣誉，奖给对国家做出了巨大贡献的人士。

make contributions 立功；做出贡献

*contribution /ˌkɑːntrɪˈbjuːʃn/ n.  贡献

注意contribution是可数名词，所以要么说make contributions, 要么说make a contribution。
