Some drug prices were way too high, especially those drugs to cure rare diseases. But once the medicine was included in National's health insurance coverage, it'll be affordable for most patients.

有的药价格太高了，尤其是那些治疗罕见病的药物。但是一旦这个药被纳入医保范围，对于大多数患者来说，就可以负担得起了。

rare /rer/ adj. 罕见的；稀少的

疾病的名词是 disease，罕见病就是 rare disease，患了罕见病，搭配可以是 suffer from rare disease, 治疗疾病，cure rare disease.

Sophia suffers from a rare disease that has caused her to have strokes.

索菲亚因为患有罕见的疾病，导致她全身中风。

affordable /əˈfɔːrdəbəl/ adj. 负担得起的

动词是 afford，表示能负担得起的，能买得起，比如说能买一辆车，就是 afford a car. 形容词是 affordable，既然能负担得起，就是没那么贵的，物美价廉的。

There are few affordable apartments in big cities.
在大城市中没有几所公寓是便宜的。
