restorative  /rɪˈstɔːrətɪv/  恢复健康的；促使康复的

*动词原形为restore  /rɪˈstɔːr/ ，表示“恢复", 加上形容词词尾-active, 即表示”有助于恢复的，促使康复的“。

He feels great because of the restorative power of fresh air.

新鲜空气的康复功效让他感觉非常不错。

Naps aren't totally restorative, but they do help. 

睡一小会儿并不能使我完全恢复，但能让我好过一些。

rebound /rɪˈbaʊnd/  v. 回升；反弹

*bound作动词表示跳跃着前行、跳跃着跑，加上表重复的前缀re, rebound就表示反弹、回升。近义词：bounce back.

*注意，rebound作名词和作动词时发音有区别。作名词时重音放在第一个音节， 读作/ˈriːbaʊnd/；作动词时重音放在第二个音节，读作 /rɪˈbaʊnd/。

The numbers of giant pandas are finally rebounding after years of decline.
