U.S. Government Charges Russian With Interference In The 2018 Midterm Elections

Elena Khusyaynova, a Russian citizen, has been charged by the U.S. government with one count of conspiring to defraud the United States. Prosecutors say she handled budgets and payments associated with the disinformation schemes on behalf of Russia leading up to the midterm elections.
