In this podcast, Dr. Berg talks about SIBO and intermittent fasting. SIBO means Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth - a condition where you have too much bacteria in the wrong place and normally, the bacteria should be in the large intestine. Eating fiber, probiotics, or taking antibiotics could make this condition worse.

Migratory Motor Complex is a system in the body that has the cleaning effect of all the leftover food and bacteria, and pushes them into the large intestine between meals. This process is controlled by motilin, which is also triggered by bile salts. Bile salts are made by the liver and are stored in the gallbladder.
