In this podcast, I’m going to talk to you about the different causes of jaundice. Jaundice is a situation where your skin and the whites of your eyes turn yellow. This is caused by bilirubin backing up into the skin.

Bilirubin is a compound that comes from the breakdown of red blood cells. This happens because your liver isn’t clearing them out. With infants, this can mean that their liver is underdeveloped. With adults, it’s typically liver damage.

There are 8 things you can try to help get rid of jaundice.

1. Sunlight (or phototherapy)

2. Vitamin D

3. Rosemary

4. Lemon juice

5. Ginger

6. Amla berry

7. Oregano

8. Milk thistle

Give these a try and see if they help you get rid of jaundice.
