(2:26) - Whenever you have to introduce a new change in your business, you need to remind them of the vision. “Where are we trying to go?” Also, present the options after announcing this new change.

(4:08) - When you’re presenting options, you can be fairly forthcoming. Ex. “I’ll take nothing while you guys take half of the sales. If you aren’t comfortable with staying and want to leave that works also”

(5:12) - You’re not just presenting the options to your customers/employees. You are presenting options that will allow them to participate in the decision as well. If they disagree or react negatively, that means they resent the decision.

(8:33) - When you explain to someone the decision, you have to give them the information that led to making this call. Let them know that understand why that decision was being made

(10:50) - There are going to be a million hard decisions, and you might not agree with some of them most of the time. But as long as you’re still in the game we’re going to get out of this together
