(1:41) - Ever since Alex started his podcast, he never missed out on showing up to create content. You have to figure out how to communicate. You are learning how to teach, how to entertain, and how to present.

(3:14) - If you think in days, the time's gonna pass no matter what. But if you can think in decades, when you’re making goals, it'll show that you were thinking that way.

(4:27) - Moral of the story about Alex’s friend: you have to commit to the action. Make the action the goal, not the outcome. The more you commit to the action after a decade, it shows that you’re the type of person who is incredibly patient and diligent.

(7:58) - from the book Atomic Habits: “. Every winner and every loser have the same goals (...) Your goals don't make you unique. It's the activities that you do that make you unique.”

(9:41) - If you can separate the activities from the outcome, you can focus better on the actions. If you can change to this perspective, it will change your life. It'll decrease your emotional ups and downs.
