Timestamps:

(3:28) - Alex was in living a reality where he thought that personal branding was not relevant at all up until he saw what it did to highly influential figures now like Kylie Jenner, The Rock, Joe Rogan, etc., Part of their success is contributed to knowing how to use leverage

(8:47) - Scarce resources are the things that are the most valuable. And so oil was the scarce resource back then, and now attention is the new scarce resource. You have to understand that the output is the audience, not the content.

(16:25) - If you think that you're gonna be in the game for a long time and you want to be as big as you can later while giving value to your audience, it takes an incredible amount of patience.

(34:30) - If you want something that's going to become huge, you need something that compounds and ideally even multiple forms of leverage.  The people who make the most money are the ones who have the most leverage because everybody has the same amount of time. It's just who gets the most back for their time.

(39:41) - When getting into personal branding, it cannot just be all about you. You have to give something valuable to your audiences that they can take away with them after giving their attention to you.

(43:14) - When you're building the personal brand, you're actually not selling the software. You're selling values, you're selling ideals.
