Hey there, folks! Get ready for a heart-to-heart episode of the Therapist Thrival Guide, where we're diving into the world of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) tapping and how it can be a game-changer for those riding the perinatal rollercoaster.

Pregnancy and postpartum life? Yeah, they're beautiful, but they can also throw some serious emotional curveballs. That's where EFT tapping comes in – it's like giving yourself a little mental massage to ease the stress and anxiety that can come with the territory.

In this episode, we're chatting with Maria Yakimchuk– mom and EFT pro – who shares her story and spills the beans on how tapping has helped her navigate the ups and downs of the perinatal journey (and yes, you can do it to yourself!).

This mental health podcast is hosted by Miranda Barker, MSW, LICSW and a rotating cast of seasoned therapists. This podcast will be covering topics like burn-out, self of therapist, cultural considerations, client retention, session structure, advancing clinical skills, innovations in therapy, and balancing professional relationships with our personal lives. Every now and then, we'll even cover the happenings of how therapists are portrayed in pop culture. Miranda Barker, MSW, LICSW, has been practicing as a therapist for nearly three years.
